AnyConnect SSL is standard TLS on port 443 — the same path enterprise remote work relies on. Corporate networks, campus Wi-Fi, hotels and airports that block everything else are its native habitat.
We deliberately don't say “bypass censorship”: nation-scale blocking is a different arms race, and not the battlefield of standard protocols. We mean restricted network environments, not restricted countries.
Connection records hold a two-letter country code only. Node heartbeats parse an allowlist of fields; any extra IP field gets dropped.
Passwords are system-generated, shown exactly once, and only a hash is stored. Even you can't set a weak one.
Revoking one node never affects the rest. Suspect a compromise? We rebuild the node — there's nothing on it worth saving.
